Pupils from Years 8,9,10 and 11 went to London in June for a four day visit. On Thursday we had an early dinner at Pizza Express followed by a trip to Drury Lane to watch 42nd Street.
On Friday we had a guided tour of Parliament (but weren't allowed to photograph in either of the Houses!) We then presented a cheque for £220 to the Coram Foundation, which was half the proceeds from "Found". In the afternoon Mr Bloomer gave us a special guided tour of Fortnum and Masons followed by a cream tea in the Crypt. In the evening went to a Youth Concert at Waterloo and had Fish and Chips at the Fishcotheque!
On Saturday we crossed the millenium bridge to Tate Modern and spent the rest of the day at the Horniman Museum exploring the animatronic exhibition, musical instruments, the aquarium and the farm (to name but a few of the attractions.)
Sunday saw us at The Foundling Museum (of Found fame!) then everyone went free-range at the Britsh Museum before"victualling" at Paddington for the journey home.
