St. Piran's School in Hayle has been named as "the best performing school in Cornwall" at GCSE based on our June 2019 results https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/school/112082/st-piran's-school-(gb)-ltd/secondary or view the entire article on our News Page

School Closure

In line with the latest Government directive the school will close at 3.30 p.m. this Friday 20th March.

We are committed to making this as stress free as possible for all members of the school community and therefore the following arrangements have been put in place.

Parents are entirely free to choose to send their children to school, or not, on Thursday and  Friday. Please e-mail if possible, or telephone the school after 8.00a.m. to let us know if your child is not attending

On Friday packs of work and a copy of pupils' school reports for the year so far, will be available.   Although the GCSE examinations have been cancelled, we feel that your child may still benefit from some activities to maintain their education beyond the Easter holiday and this applies to pupils of all ages.

The school will be open for the collection of work packs/reports and we ask that, if your child is not attending on Friday, a representative from your family calls in  between 9.00a.m. and 3.30p.m. to collect a pack, the report and any belongings left in school.

Arrangements will be in place for key workers.

Thank you for your support and understanding throughout this year, and I hope that the sun shines on us all at Easter to raise our spirits in troubled times.
